PA EAST BRUNSWICK — East Brunswick board approves Zitkus final plan, invests $100,000 CD. The Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the Zitkus Final Plan on Tuesday, clearing the way for project recording after the applicant provided required signatures and addressed County Planning Department comments. Chairman Jeffrey Faust moved to invest $100,000 of township funds in an 8-month Certificate of Deposit with Mauch Chunk Trust at 3.25 percent interest, substantially higher than the township's 2.39 percent checking account rate; Supervisor David Teter seconded, and the board voted unanimously.
The board also unanimously adopted a community room rental fee schedule with separate resident and non-resident rates, authorized up to $3,500 for furnishings, and approved $1,542 for lawn care and weed-control work.
